Heart of God India is committed to taking the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to India, offering love, encouragement, and nourishment for the body and the soul to some of India's one billion people. Our work of partnering with and equipping indigenous Christian pastors and leaders makes it possible for frequent and regular outreaches, presenting the Indian people with the opportunity to find their destiny in Jesus Christ through surrendered lives and committed hearts and to be regularly fed by our team of diligent Pastors and dedicated ministers.

2011 TEAM OUTREACH
Our March 2011 trip was an incredible time of intimacy and ministry among our US and Indian teams. Team Leaders, Tammy Smith and Terri Morgan led the US team with hours of prayer, praise and seeking out the will of God for this trip.
Crossing rivers and climbing mountain trails, our 16 member team traveled to remote areas and ministered in villages in the mountain and forest areas.
Our team split up into two groups and each group went to different villages for ministry. Ministry included outreach to our Orphanage and our 2 leper colonies, as well as visiting many areas for ministry in some of our Churches, huts, and in open areas.
Our Indian team joined our US team in crusades as worship ensued Indian style. Many were saved, healed and encouraged as speakers took His Word into the homes and hearts of people who didn't actively attend our meetings.
Our team undertook many ministry activities as God joined hearts together with passion and purpose.

2009 India Outreach
We praise God for what He has done among the precious people in India during the 2009 India Outreach. The hunger for more of Him was obvious. The people listened intently as we presented the Gospel message in each village. The children were eager to listen while the men's and women's eyes were glued on us considering the message we brought.
Our main goals were simple:
1. Present the Gospel of salvation in simple, easy-to-understand terms so the Truth of Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God, could not be misunderstood.
2. Bring encouragement to weary people.
3. Strengthen and encourage the pastors.
All that was accomplished during the 2009 India Outreach was nothing short of a miracle. The Lord took three simple people, with a heart to serve Him, and literally used their gifts in a way that cannot be explained except by giving God ALL the glory.
It was especially exciting to have Pastor Robert "Doc" Burrows join us for this outreach. He was an incredible addition to the team. It was a wonderful blessing to our partners in India to have yet another Pastor from the US impart knowledge and wisdom that comes from experience to them.
Please join us in prayer for the people of India, your brothers and sisters and the teams in India and HGIMIndia's ministry in the US. There is MUCH more work to be done ... for the glory of God.

March 2009 marked a date to remember for 28 pastors who received brand new bicycles purchased by the friends and supporters of Heart of God International Ministries. Most pastors are responsible for more than one church, oftentimes great distances apart. A bicycle is the only means of transportation, making transportation easier and safer. We praise God for His abundant provision on behalf of these pastors!

2012 India Outreach
Did you know that out of those who feel called to do mission work, only 2% actually go. Will you join us for this time of INTENSE ministry to a nation where Christianity is in the single digits? India Orphan Sponsorship
Children are the most vulnerable of all, not only in India but everywhere. Orphaned and left to raise themselves, begging in the streets, living in the cemeteries, wandering without hope for a future. Without our loving sponsorship these children will likely die before they reach adulthood. If they live, they will likely be sold into prostitution or even worse, as unimaginable destinies await these abandoned children.

Please learn how you can support an orphan for a monthly pledge of $32, giving a child a home, food, and education in the ways of Christ, including outreaches designed for the children. Our Orphanage is at capacity but we have many more children waiting for care. Several of our children also still need sponsorship. Please pray for these children, this ministry. Give what you are able to, there is much need!
Also, please note that 100% of your tax-deductible sponsorship is sent directly as designated each month; we do not deduct administrative expenses or fund raising costs from any sponsorship. None of our staff receives a salary. All things are done on a volunteer basis for the Kingdom of God. You can feel confident that your donation is secure and used appropriately.

Heart of God Pastors
There are currently over 45 pastors under the umbrella of Heart of God India and many more waiting to be able to join with our Indian Team in ministry. These men lead truly dedicated and sacrificial lives to fulfill their calling in reaching the beloved Indian people. This ministry supports these pastors at $22/month, enough to provide for his family. (Click HERE for more information) and by providing School of the Bible for them where they receive training, prayer, and fellowship with our entire team of Pastors. Our pastors minister in over 90 areas each week, as most of the pastors preach in several villages, minister to the sick, pray for their needs, disciple new believers, oversee children's and youth ministries, and more. We are incredibly grateful for the commitment shown by each one as they spend their lives fulfilling the Great Commission in their own and neighboring tribal villages. Each pastor has a unique and powerful testimony of how God has called him and established him on the Solid Rock, Christ Jesus. We love our pastors and thank God for each of them and their families.

Remote Tribal Outreach
Each month at least one major outreach, into remote tribal areas, is conducted by our partners in India. With a rented truck loaded with a sound system, generator, fuel, food, chairs, and other equipment, a team of no less than 10 will leave home base and travel upwards of 100-150km to a remote area where missionaries have never visited and the Name of Jesus has never been proclaimed. This endeavor is very costly, but we have seen incredible results with entire villages renouncing Hinduism and turning to the Lord. We have seen tribal chiefs declaring that Jesus is Lord, new churches beginning, children growing in the knowledge of Jesus Christ, elders suddenly finding reason and purpose for their lives. Out of more than 20,000 villages in this state, only 3,000 - 4,000 of those have heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ. There is much to do!! School of Ministry
Heart of God India began a more organized School of Ministry in January 2008. In addition to fasting and all night prayer in individual areas each Friday, once a month all our pastors come together for three days of intense instruction, worship, and prayer. During this time, our team of pastors go deeper into the Word of God and prayer and also learn skills in preaching, teaching, ministry, and worship under the instruction of a qualified, degreed Bible teacher. One of the greatest needs in the Indian Church is the raising up of qualified and effective leaders. So many of the men answering the call to ministry from the tribal regions are illiterate and/or have had no formal training or instruction in the Bible or spiritual matters. The School of Ministry in India is striving to meet the challenge of equipping indigenous pastors to be Spirit-led ministers, church planters, and disciple-makers in their tribal areas.
